James Bond, or Harry Potter ?
Here we have the 2 main film studios west of London in the UK.
Both are photogrammetry and therefore suitable for overflying but not close detail.
Each is in a seperate zip so you can choose to download either or both.
There are points of interest markers;
For Pinewood the suggestion being you fly from either Denham(EGLD fly south ) or White Waltham (EGLM fly east )
For Warner Bros. fly from Elstree ( EGTR ) and go NorthWest
In the Warner Bros you can just make out the Knight Bus, Privet drive, the Hogwarts bridge and parts of Hogsmeade Village
I cant figure out was was being filmed at Pinewood, there are several outdoor sets inc. a ship
Pinewood is at 51.54820830895011, -0.53446114167537
Warner Bros. is at 51.69059513123589, -0.4174535548503935
Hope they are useful.
Nice scenery, thank you so much!!. Is there any chance to remove those white photogrammetry trees?, some tool maybe that could remove those and use autogen trees?

Hi,
Funnily enough i have just shown someone else how to remove those. They are a pain and dont really show up that bad in Blender, but once you get them into MSFS they look bad. I am pretty sure its worse since the last upgrade so possible the way MSFS deals with contrast. I noticed they show up bad particularly when the satellite image is taken on a bright day. I removed some but clearly not enough. Its all a manual removing them in the 3D image, so you can imagine there are millions of triangulations. I will have a go, as well as reduce the number of vectors for Ollymsfs2020

This is brilliant, as someone who worked at both sites the past summer it's great to see them from above in the sim. I wonder though if anybody is experiencing micro stutters from these sceneries?

Hi, thank you for taking the time to comment.
I create these sceneries by capturing with Renderdoc and piecing together in Blender, then I save as a single object. Its quite a laborious process. I guess that could be the reason for microstutters, i did see them when recording the video but that was using a playback tool which i think causes stutters anyway. I did not see them during free flight. Sorry about that, I chose my method because the photogrammetry from google maps is more recent than from the EarthtoMSFS method that most people use for cities. EG my method shows the Harry Potter Experience building but the other method has a flat building site.
Sorry if your experience is spoilt. I could try to reduce the number of points in the image before exporting to see if thats a good trade off of performance vs quality. If you want me to try just let me know and I can save the file somewhere private for you to retrieve and try.
cheers
