This is a custom checklist created for the excellent ATR 42/72-600 by Hans Hartmann / Asobo.
The checklist is based on a combination of the Air New Zealand procedures shared in the official MSFS tutorials and the ATR 72-600 FCOM. I’ve included some reference material from the FCOM on the final page of the document too.
The checklist should be ideal for people that are familiar with the basic operation of the aircraft and need a gentle reminder of the essential actions throughout the flight.
The checklist was created following the guidelines set out in NASA’s ‘Designing Flight Deck Procedures’ to improve legibility. This includes the use of a clean sans-serif font, preference for title case and lower case for action items and uppercase for titles.
Feel free to make any suggestions / improvements and I'll do my best to improve this further. Happy to create an uppercase or enlarged font size version for example.
If you're just starting out with the ATR 42/72-600, I recommend starting with the following tutorials before/while using the checklist:
- MSFS Official ATR Tutorial - Real World Air New Zealand Captain
- 737 NG Driver ATR Tutorial Series - Note that a number of bugs have been fixed since this series was recorded
Thanks a lot, looks great! Any plans for other aircraft in this format?

Any aircraft in particular you're keen on? I have a few checklists for payware aircraft that I haven't polished / released yet.

Love this! You should make one for 737 in this exact style. Great work on the design.

Thanks - glad to hear that! The PMDG 737 is next on the list as I fly it the most and have a checklist already written - I'll just need to format it in the same style as this and do some test flights.
