Elly Beinhorn's world tour 1932
This was the first circumnavigation of the world by a woman, in an airplane, flying solo. For each relay, there are quotes from Elly Beinhorn's book "Alleinflug", published by © Federking & Thaler, 2008.
Elly Maria Frida Rosemeyer-Beinhorn, born and known as Elly Beinhorn, (* May 30, 1907 in Hanover; † November 28, 2007 in Ottobrunn), was a German aviation pioneer. Beinhorn grew up in the middle-class environment of Hanover. At the age of 21, she began flying training in Berlin and earned her pilot's license in 1929. She then worked as an aerobatic pilot until she made a name for herself in 1931 with a solo flight to Africa. The following year, she achieved worldwide fame by flying around the world and was awarded the Hindenburg Cup. More long-distance flights followed, and in the mid-1930s, Beinhorn set several records, such as flying over three continents in one day. In 1991, she was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st Class. She died at the age of 100 in a retirement home near Munich. (Source Wikipedia)
The flight adventure created here should help to keep the memory of Elly Beinhorn alive.
This flight adventure is multilingual. The original language is German. All other languages have been machine translated with DeepL. Therefore, it is quite possible that the meaning is not always coherent. If you know a better translation, please send it to me.
Installation:
Unzip the 3 folders of the package into the community folder. The LNMPLN files can be unpacked into the Flight Routes folder for LittleNavmap, if desired.
Specification:
- In the package there are 3 parts, with a total of 51 stages, in about 17,000 nautical miles.
- Preset is the Asobo XCub. Elly Beinhorn flew with an open sport machine, a Klemm Kl 26, with 80, hp. Something comparable does not exist in the MSFS 2020 but it should already be a single engine airplane and because of the long distances the autopilot in the XCub does quite well. The aircraft can be exchanged with some manual work. Please read the exchange file.Alternatively, there is also the MissionChanger from BuffyGC.
- The package is multilingual in the languages: English US, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese BR, Portuguese, Russian, Dutch, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish. The basic language is German. The other languages are machine translated, so there may be errors in the translation. If you have a better translation, please send it to me.
- Problem time shift: The time can be set in the weather menu since SU11.
- Use the GPS and ATC.
- A GPS course is available that can be obtained. (see "Frequently Asked")
In addition, each waypoint is provided with a clearly visible marker. This can be switched off in the support options / navigation aids. - The refuel button is only active on airfields with a gas station. If the gasoline is not enough, you can stop over at an airport to refuel.
- Weather is freely selectable. Live weather is preset.
- The trip is not over until the engine and electrics are switched off and the handbrake is applied. Roll for it best on a parking lot.
- A LNMPLN file for Little Navmap is included in the package. There you can also find the texts for the waypoints in German language. Click on a waypoint in the flight plan table and press the Enter key. With a translation program you can translate the texts into your language.
Another tip: Since SU11, the simulator no longer saves progress in time intervals, but only after a waypoint has been flown over. So you can abort the flight after each waypoint and continue it later.
Have fun with the flights and always safe landings,
Koschi

Elly Beinhorns Weltumrundung
Mai 1907 in Hannover; † 28.
Koschi

One question I have about your comment: "After a few flights, the refuel button in the top menu may have disappeared and refueling at the gas station is not possible:"
This may be a intended behavior. BushTripInjector turns off the refueling option as soon as the plane is in the air and turns it on again as soon as you land, you have landed at a known airport ~20nm around your route) and this airport also offers gas. If there is no fuel station at the airport, the fuel menu will remain off.
To make it easier for the user, for example if he had a longer break and doesn't know if he refueled at the end of the previous leg, I turn on the option also if you start the leg from the bush trip menu, regardless of whether there is a gas station at the airport.
