Albury Airport, identified by the IATA code ABX and the ICAO code YMAY, is a regional airport located 2 nautical miles (3.7 km; 2.3 mi) northeast of Albury in New South Wales, Australia. As the primary air transportation hub for Albury and its neighbouring twin city of Wodonga, Victoria, the airport served as the fifth busiest in New South Wales in the 2016-17 period, accommodating a total of 257,769 passengers. Despite its standing, the COVID-19 pandemic and its accompanying travel restrictions and state border closures greatly impacted ABX's operations, resulting in a significant decline in revenue passengers. During the 2021-22 Financial Year, ABX handled only 107,934 passengers, lowering its ranking to the 32nd busiest airport in Australia. In addition to providing regular public transport flights, Albury Airport manages numerous charter, freight, agricultural, and general aviation aircraft movements. Furthermore, it is the designated site for the official weather station for Albury-Wodonga.

Thanks for this, much appreciated. I learned to fly at Albury airport back in the late 1970's, in a Piper Tomahawk, popularly known as the Traumahawk because of its vicious spin characteristics.
