Dog Creek was originally built as an RCAF training base in 1942 and operated as such until the early 60s at which time it was sold to a local company and used for private/corporate flying. It has since been closed and while not overgrown with grass, the pavement is very cracked and covered in moss making the 3 one-mile-long runways almost disappear into the ground when you're down low. You won't find any fuel in the tanks and stay out of the hangars as they aren't safe anymore. Oh and the runway numbers you may find reference to are dated as variation has changed greatly since the 40s.
To fully enjoy this airport you'll want to grab the following two amazing libraries:

Reminds me a bit of Annette Island in Alaska, similarly forgotten to time and rain!
