"Hoggit's Wet Dream"!
This mod gives F-14 HUD from the Asobo F/A-18E. It's only proof of concept, so don't expect a full multi-mode HUD.
There are two versions:
1. New HUD on Day/Night modes: problematic because it removes stock F-14 HUD basics like tacan and weapons.
2. New HUD on night setting—best to choose. The original F-14 HUD is accessible on day setting (all HUD modes still work). On a night setting, there is basic Asobo hud.
Known bugs:
1. Asobo HUD is basic. No TACAN, AA/AG, declutter.
2. NWS is showing, even NWS is disabled.
3. AoA is different from the F-14 AoA gauge (not a bug: original F-14 is not showing AoA in degrees).
Installation:
1. Copy the "ZZZZZZZZZZZ_F14_HB_IFE_HUD" or "ZZZZZZZZZZZ_F14_HB_IFE_HUD_NightOnly" folder to your community folder; ONLY 1 COULD BE ACTIVE AT TIME.
2. Pull the day/night handle to check if it works.
