STORY TIME
Once upon a time, there was an MD-11 freight aircraft with the registration number B-16101, owned by Eva Air, a major airline based in Taiwan. This aircraft, with its shiny green and white livery, was renowned for its reliability and powerful performance.
B-16101 was primarily active on international cargo routes, transporting a variety of goods from electronics to fresh fruit. Not only was the aircraft a vital part of Eva Air's logistical operations, but it was also a beloved 'workplace' for the crews that flew around the world.
On a sunny day, ready for a new flight, B-16101 was carefully loaded with cargo destined for various corners of the globe. The crew checked all systems: from engines to navigation equipment, everything had to be perfect for takeoff.
After a smooth departure from the airport in Taipei, B-16101 headed towards Europe. The journey was smooth, under the stars and above the clouds, while the crew listened to the soothing sounds of the engines. Along the way, they enjoyed views of landscapes, oceans, and cities illuminated at night.
At every landing and takeoff, in cities like Amsterdam, London, and Frankfurt, B-16101 was admired by plane spotters and airport staff. It was always a special moment when this MD-11, with its distinctive design and imposing presence, entered or left the runways.
After many years of faithful service and countless safe flights, B-16101 was eventually retired, a well-deserved rest following an impressive career in air cargo. However, the memories of its adventures and the stories of the people who flew with it continue to live on, a lasting tribute to an iconic Eva Air aircraft.
