The Flight Simulation Association has announced the schedule and travel details for the upcoming FlightSimExpo, set to take place from June 21-23, 2024, in Las Vegas. FlightSimExpo is one of the world’s largest dedicated flight simulation conferences and tradeshows, attracting thousands of attendees since 2018. The event is produced by the Flight Simulation Association, a community-driven organization that supports developers, simmers, and real-world pilots in the flight simulation domain. For more details and updates, visit flightsimexpo.com.
Attendees will be treated to an expansive 40,000+ square foot exhibit hall, brimming with hands-on displays of the latest flight simulation hardware and software. A highlight of this year's show is the return of the VR Experience Center, where participants can immerse themselves in a variety of virtual reality setups, designed to replicate popular flight simulator configurations. Throughout the weekend, the speaker stages will host a range of how-to seminars and educational discussions. The organizers are inviting community members, content creators, and developers to apply to host seminars or panel discussions.
The experience at FlightSimExpo extends beyond the conference halls, with a lineup of additional activities planned for Thursday, Friday, and Monday surrounding the main event. These activities include exclusive air traffic control facility tours, planespotting trips, and other aviation-themed excursions. Conference organizer Evan Reiter teases more fun, group-oriented experiences to be unveiled in the spring of 2024, building on the success of past outings like the tour of IAH airport and a night out at Topgolf during the Houston event.
The FlightSimExpo has secured discounted rates for rooms at the Tropicana Las Vegas, along with special rates on flights from Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, and their codeshare partners. Attendees are encouraged to book early to take advantage of these offers and to ensure their spot at what promises to be an unforgettable event.
Registration for the FlightSimExpo opens this December, with an exclusive early bird rate of $50 for a 3-day event pass available to members of the Flight Simulation Association. Membership to the association is free and open to all, providing access to resources, learning content, webinars, and discounts on top add-ons and simulation hardware.
